We collect personal data in the following circumstances: Information you provide directly: Email address when you subscribe to the Distribution Desk newsletter; name and email address when you submit a contact form enquiry; payment information (processed by our payment processor — we do not store card details) when purchasing ROAD-1 Pro access. Information collected automatically: IP address and general geographic location; browser type, device type, and operating system; pages visited, time on site, and referring URL. We do not collect: sensitive personal data, precise location data, financial account details, or data from individuals under 16 years of age.
We use the data we collect for: delivering the Distribution Desk newsletter to opt-in subscribers; responding to contact form enquiries and editorial correspondence; improving our content and platform through aggregated analytics; processing ROAD-1 platform subscriptions and managing account access; sending transactional emails (subscription confirmations, password resets); preventing fraud and ensuring platform security. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial purposes.

Newsletter subscriber data: retained while subscription is active, plus 30 days after unsubscription. Contact form submissions: retained for 12 months, then deleted. ROAD-1 account data: retained for the duration of the subscription plus 2 years for legal compliance. Analytics data: aggregated and anonymised after 26 months.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction, right to portability, right to object, and right to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email staff@lbnntv.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data including HTTPS encryption across all LBNNTV platforms, access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only, Cloudflare DDoS and security protection, and regular security reviews.
