Maersk Training awarded 3-year contract by Seadrill for Global Training Management Services

Maersk Training, a leading provider of safety and technical training for the energy sector, has been awarded a 3-year Training Management Service (TMS) contract by Seadrill, a global offshore drilling contractor. The contract will see Maersk Training managing Seadrill’s global onshore and offshore workforce training requirements for approximately 3100 personnel and 16 assets.

Maersk Training was selected after a competitive tender process. Over the years, Maersk Training has provided both regulated and bespoke training courses to Seadrill.

“We are excited to announce that Seadrill has entered into a new agreement with Maersk Training.  This partnership represents a significant step forward for both companies as we work together to enhance safety and operational excellence across our global operations.” said Jay Brown, Seadrill.

Under the new contract, Maersk Training’s dedicated TMS team will work in close partnership with Seadrill to provide an efficient training booking and administration service for all of Seadrill’s training and competency requirements worldwide.
