750 TVET Students Fully Sponsored By Buuri MP
In the wake of TVET courses advocacy, Buuri member of parliament Hon. Rindikiri Mugambi has fully sponsored at least 750 students from his constituency for a three months course.

The students will join the five renown TVET institutions in Meru namely,
- kiirua TTI * 164 students
- Ruibi vocational *92 students
- Koome vocational* 192 students
- Ethi vocational * 70 students
- Timau TTI *232 students
Speaking during the launch of the program at MSEA Juakali grounds, Rindikiri said “TVET institutions are charged with the responsibility of skills training of the people to propel the country the status of a medium industrialized nation by the year 2030. It is the high time our youth get trained on courses that will help them to employ themselves and improve their living standards”

He added that this program will also fight the drug menace as most of the youth will be engaged in school.
While lauding the program, Koome Vocational principal said “I am so excited and humbly honor our able MP hon Rindikiri for this particular program. It is a well thought idea and I am requesting that the program continues even in the future”

Meru MSEA director Madam Ivy Gitonga said that their main mandate is to promote, develop and regulate micro small enterprises. She has promised to support the MP in the program by equipping the their Juakali site where the youth can learn through mentorship and business programs so that they will be knowledgeable.
The students present shown faith and willingness to start the program promising to fully avail themselves for the courses.
