While the larger cryptocurrency market is facing a steep price crash, Zcash (ZEC) seems to be navigating the storm quite well. While Bitcoin (BTC) and other major cryptocurrencies are glowing red, ZEC is trading in the green zone across all time frames. According to CoinGecko data, ZEC has rallied 12.1% in the last 24 hours, 93.3% in the last week, 369.1% in the 14-day charts, 448/5% over the previous month, and 622.2% since October 2024. In this price prediction article, let’s discuss if Zcash (ZEC) can maintain its rally.

Zcash Price Prediction: Will The Asset Sustain Its Rally?

Zcash (ZEC) has been the best-performing crypto asset among the top 100 projects by market cap over the last few days. The sudden price spike is likely due to a spike in investor sentiment due to institutional access gains. Grayscale clients can now get exposure to ZEC via its funds. Institutional interest is a key driver for an asset’s price.

Zcash (ZEC) also found support from Helium Labs CEO Mert Mumtaz. Mumtaz took to X and highlighted how Zcash’s technological improvements will greatly improve the project’s performance.

While the asset’s performance has been incredible, Zcash (ZEC) is still down by more than 90%b from its all-time high of $3,191.93, which it attained in October 2016, nine years ago. Moreover, there is a high chance that ZEC’s price will face a correction over the coming days. Bitcoin (BTC) is the market leader, and other crypto assets usually follow its trajectory. Since BTC is in a slump, Zcash (ZEC) may break its current pattern very soon.

An interest rate cut could bring some relief to crypto investors. The Federal Reserve is expected to announce another interest rate cut this month. Another rate cut could allow Zcash (ZEC) to continue its upward trajectory.
