Her reaction comes in response to the recent demolition of houses in the Mende, Maryland area, conducted by officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources to clear the way for a drainage channel.

Alade highlighted her worries about the impact on real estate values and lamented the losses suffered by property owners, urging the government to explore alternative solutions to preserve properties.
