One of the most popular video game consoles in the world, the Xbox, is set to launch a credit card in 2024. Indeed, Microsoft is partnering with Mastercard to launch the no-fee card. Moreover, it is set to bring a host of incentives to avid Xbox users. Among those are Microsoft Store and gaming perks.
Microsoft is set to utilize Barclay’s credit card program with their Xbox brand, according to an official announcement. Subsequently, the new credit card will be available for Xbox Insiders across the United States, Alaska, and Hawaii beginning on September 21st.

Microsoft Introduces Xbox Mastercard
There are few video game companies that are as popular or prevalent as Xbox. With more than 120 active users as of 2022, the company stands out as a titan in the gaming sector. Now, they are poised to bring a brand new financial opportunity to the multitude of users it already has.
Specifically, Xbox is set to launch a credit card in 2024. Indeed, Microsoft announced that it is partnering with Mastercard to bring this offering to users. Moreover, it is set to be issued by Barclays and will feature no annual fee alongside a host of perks for Xbox’s faithful.

“With the Xbox Mastercard credit card, players can earn card points with everyday purchases to redeem on games and add-ons at xbox.com,” the press release stated. Moreover, it noted that the card will be available to all US users in 2024, with Xbox Insiders able to use it starting September 21st.
The card allows users to earn card points for every $1 they spend with it. Additionally, it features benefits for its use on Microsft store purchases, including earning five times card points on certain purchases. Moreover, users will be able to earn three times points for certain streaming service payments and dining delivery services.
