
For more than two decades, Google has been used as a shortcut to find anything online, allowing the tech company founded in 1998 to build a USD 2-trillion empire based on blue links.
But the release of ChatGPT in November 2022 marked a radical shift, and its effects are ever more prevalent today.
Research by Morgan Stanley indicates that ChatGPT is the preferred choice for Generation Z, and that many of this generation don’t even consider searching on Google.
Google is gradually losing ground to other search engines as its competitors continue to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their systems much more quickly.
According to Reuters, OpenAI’s weekly active users surged past 400 million in February, and traffic is expected to continue expanding rapidly.
