There is no denying that big things are expected from the Magnificent 7 entering the new year. 2025 was also looked at as a strong opportunity for the stock market. With US President-elect Donald Trump returning to office, there are hopes the economy will continue its ongoing rebound under current US President Joe Biden. Moreover, the thriving tech sector could be one of the biggest beneficiaries.

Even more interestingly, Microsoft may be establishing itself as the top of the industry, as MSFT has been predicted to reach heights of $550 in 2025. Indeed, a host of Wall Street experts believe that the company’s stock value is set to soar with eyes on a new all-time high mark.

According to TipRanks, all analysts have projected an average price target of $503, 18% above the stock’s current position. Moreover, the low-end projections sit at $25 over the next 12-month forecast. Indeed, this would see the Windows developer stay mostly unmoved.

Additionally, 27 of 29 total recorded analysts have given Microsoft a Strong Buy rating over the last two months. Moreover, the two outliers have given the tech stock a hold rating, with no one calling to sell.

One of the key drivers of this projected growth is Microsoft’s Azure. The company’s cloud computing subsidiary is expected to continue its 20% growth. The business will also continue to comprise more than half of the company’s total revenue, alongside OpenAI, GitHub, and SQL.

Both business operations products, like Office, will continue to be key growth drivers. Meanwhile, personal computing provides a key focal point. Currenlty, Windows, gaming, and devices are 25% of its business and should show strong growth in 2025.
