PRETORIA – The biggest tax event in Africa has finally arrived!

The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) is getting ready for the 5th International Conference on Tax in Africa (ICTA).

The conference will take place from 3-5 November virtually on Zoom, due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

The theme of the 5th ICTA is
Domestic Resource Mobiliation: Accelerating Technology for Tax Administrations.

Deliberations will also include how digital technology can reshape the way tax administrations collect, process, and act on information and help them to be more effective, efficient, transparent, and equitable; and in the process build trusting relationships with taxpayers. The conference will explore new technologies like blockchain, how tax administrations use data and will have tax administrations sharing their experiences.
