The TV drama series which launched weeks ago has captured many hearts as Sundays have been more interesting since it got premiered.

The seven tracks of the show have been released, and they are available for streaming.

The songs feature award-winning musicians such as Mbuso Khoza, Ann Masina, Buhle Bendalo Mda, Vusi Nova, Opera singer Ann Masina, Tee Jay, TorQue MuziQ, DJ Sneja, as well as stars Jessica LM, Thembi Mona and Nonka.

Vusi’s song is titled Zwide and he talked about it briefly.

“My song was inspired by Zwide. He was Shaka’s rival, and I knew most artists would choose to compose about Shaka because of his calibre, so I opted for his rival.”

The song is a mix of genres including hip-hop, Afro-beat and Afro-soul.

“Zwide is a powerful song. It reminds us who we are, and where we come from,” said Vusi.
