American tech firm Base Molecular Resonance Technologies (BMRT) has introduced an innovative solution for detecting and neutralizing sniper and bomb threats.

The breakthrough invention works by recognizing the specific molecular frequencies emitted by materials used in gunpowder and other explosive devices.

It can detect threats from hundreds of feet away, even if they are concealed within buildings or positioned far from their intended targets.

Such capabilities would allow military units and law enforcement to neutralize potential dangers before they can cause harm.

BMRT reported that the technology recently underwent testing, successfully identifying a fully loaded AR-15 rifle from 580 feet (176 meters) away in all 10 tests conducted.

“This technology offers continuous, instantaneous detection, empowering security teams to preemptively neutralize threats,” company founder Lee Duke stated. “It’s a game-changer in threat prevention.”

‘No Threat Goes Unnoticed’

BMRT claims that the groundbreaking tech features a non-intrusive and adaptable design that allows for seamless integration with existing systems.

It is also scalable for a variety of security environments, from outdoor areas to high-security military and government installations.

BMRT co-founder Robert Short acknowledges the challenges of detecting sniper and bomb threats in these settings, describing them as “notoriously hard to predict.”

He emphasized that the new device equips security forces with the tools needed to intercept these threats from a distance, effectively eliminating the possibility of them going unnoticed.

“Our mission is to eliminate these threats entirely. We’ve developed a solution that empowers security teams to act before an attack happens,” Short noted.

The company has not provided a timeline for the maturation and production of the patented technology.
