Lithuania has begun delivering a new package of military support to Ukraine, including electricity generators, ammunition, and mortar rounds.

The Lithuanian Defense Ministry stated that the equipment is expected to reach Kyiv this week.

The Baltic country has already donated 155 mm ammunition, M113 armored vehicles, anti-drone systems, and drones this year.

Latest Equipment to Ukraine

In August, Lithuania unveiled a military support package for Ukraine, which includes short-range air defense systems, armored personnel carriers, and drone jammers.

Later, Vilnius announced it would send over 5,000 locally manufactured first-person view (FPV) drones to Kyiv, with an investment of 5 million euros ($5.4 million).

Earlier this week, Ukrainian forces received the first tranche of FPV quadcopter drones delivered by Lithuanian company RSI Europe.

Long-Term Support Budget

Since the beginning of the war, Lithuania has provided military support to Ukraine totaling more than 705 million euros ($766 million).

Vilnius plans to spend over one billion euros ($1.08 billion) supporting Kyiv as part of a long-term budget, and in June, it announced plans to allocate at least 0.25 percent of GDP in assistance to the war-torn country.
