This fuel’s affordability has a significant impact on consumers, industry, and the broader economy.

A low LPG price has significant effects on social development, economic growth, environmental sustainability, and health in addition to being a cost-cutting measure.

Affordable LPG means that more households have access to clean cooking energy. In many developing nations, a large proportion of the population cooks with biomass, such as wood or charcoal.

These options are not only time-consuming to obtain, but also inefficient and dangerous.

LPG’s low price enables families, particularly in low-income neighborhoods, to switch to a safer, more efficient energy source.

One of the most severe environmental issues is deforestation, which is fueled in part by the need for firewood and charcoal.

LPG’s cheap price decreases reliance on these biomass sources, which helps to maintain forests and mitigate the consequences of climate change.

Furthermore, LPG emits far less greenhouse emissions than other traditional fuels, resulting in cleaner air and a healthier environment.

An inexpensive LPG market promotes economic growth by increasing demand across many industries. It opens up chances for enterprises involved in LPG distribution, storage, cylinder production, and sale.

With that said, here are the 10 countries with the lowest cooking gas prices with the lowest cooking gas prices at the start of 2025 according to data from GlobalPetrolPrices, last updated on the 20th of January 2025.
