Affordable fuel prices in African countries help economies, industries, and citizens alike.
Cheaper petrol means lower operational costs in businesses like shipping, manufacturing, and agriculture, which boosts profitability and encourages expansion.
Outside of this, there is no other sector that benefits from low fuel prices quite like the transportation sector.

Some of Africa’s lowest prices are offered by nations with advanced refining facilities, which make money by producing their own gasoline.
The average price of gasoline is presently 1.25 U.S per liter worldwide, compared to 1.26 USD per liter last month.
Compared to last month, fuel prices for Egypt, Ethiopia, Tunisia, declined slightly in November. On the flip side, fuel prices for Algeria, Liberia and Nigeria increased for the month.
Sudan, Libya and Angola all maintained the same fuel prices, while Gabon ousted Ghana for the 10th position on this month’s list.
