Known locally as “knock out” and “Banger,” in certain regions in Africa, fireworks, also referred to as pyrotechnic devices, add a thrilling touch to the festivities.

Fireworks displays are a key determinant of the festive period across the world, creating a lively atmosphere with their dazzling lights and sounds.

While Christmas is officially over, many holidaymakers are still eager to celebrate the start of a new year with fireworks.

Fireworks displays are a key determinant of the festive period across the world

Fireworks are low-explosive pyrotechnic devices designed for entertainment and visual appeal.

They produce a combination of noise, light, smoke, and floating debris, creating a spectacular display. Also, safety precautions should always be taken when handling fireworks.

However, it’s essential to remember that fireworks are regulated by laws in many locations and even in African countries, and improper handling or non-compliance can lead to accidents, fines, or even imprisonment.

Fireworks’ export data

Interestingly, China remains the leading exporter of fireworks globally, supplying many countries with these festive delights.
