Recruiting the right talent for your organisation is an ongoing challenge.  The current job market is becoming more difficult to navigate with the increasing volume of job applications and resumes. As the competition for top talent intensifies, hiring managers and recruiters must focus on speed, efficiency, and accuracy in their recruitment processes to find the best-fit candidates for their job openings.

At Jobberman, our insights and experience in the industry have revealed that hiring managers and recruiters need to prioritise quality over quantity when collecting job applications for their vacancies. The need for quick access to the most relevant candidates that best match the job requirements has become more critical than ever.

As a result, we set out to revolutionise how employers find the perfect candidate for their job openings in Nigeria. To achieve this goal, we are pleased to introduce two new innovative features that will significantly improve the usage and delivery of our self-service recruitment product and provide a better user experience for both employers and job seekers.

Feature 1- Relevance Ranking

This feature enables the sorting of candidates based on an in-built matching score. The matching score works by comparing the intricate aspects of the job listing requirements against the candidate’s profile, including job function, location, industry, experience length, and qualification. The algorithm then ranks the most relevant candidates for the job, placing them under the “Relevance” tab.

This feature streamlines the recruitment process for hiring managers and recruiters, saving them significant time and effort as they focus on reviewing only the most relevant candidates.

Feature 2- Qualified Candidates Recommendation

This feature leverages Jobberman’s robust database of job seekers to handpick the top ten most suitable candidates for your role. Once a job listing goes live, the algorithm scans the database and generates a list of the most eligible and qualified candidates based on the job requirements. Employers can then invite these candidates to apply for the job opening, making reaching the most eligible candidates easier and speeding up the recruitment process.

With these new features, employers can focus on finding the best-fit candidates for their job openings faster, more efficiently, and more accurately.

Our mission to change the dynamics of job boards in Nigeria is driven by our commitment to providing quality services to help employers find the perfect candidates for their job openings. With the new “Relevant Ranking” and “Qualified Candidates Recommendation” algorithms,  we are poised to transform the recruitment process in Nigeria.

These new features are only available on the Standard Job service and promise to deliver a better user experience for employers and job seekers alike.
