Migerians in the Housing industry and other concerned players have hailed BUA Cement for the consideration noting that the reduction in the new price of cement will help to make houses affordable to an average Nigerian.

In a statement made available to Viewpoint Media Housing, revealed that the reduction in the price of BUA Cement is to spur development in the building materials and infrastructure sectors adding that the new price is a commitment made following a periodic review of BUA operations for efficiency.

With the new Ex-Factory Price, Nigerians will enjoy the benefits of the price reduction before the completion of ongoing BUA new plants. This would increase BUA’s production volumes to 17 million metric tonnes per annum.

The report further reads that the Management of BUA Cement Plc said, all pending, undelivered orders which had been paid for at the old prices will be reviewed downwards to ₦3,500 per bag in line with the new pricing from October 2nd, 2023.
