More Than Just Football
The Nairobi leg follows successful editions in Central, Western, North Rift, North Eastern, Eastern, and Coast regions.
In Coast, Arrows of Kajembe edged Olympic Queens on penalties in the girls’ final, while Gombato triumphed over Majestic in the boys’ game.
Next month, the Tujiamini Cheza Dimba tournament moves to Nyanza, continuing its mission of uniting communities through sport and talent.
Cheza Dimba has become the flagship Tujiamini initiative, inspiring young people to believe in themselves while uplifting communities. This edition also introduces Bronze Kwa Ground giveaways, awarding small businesses and individuals excelling in sport, arts, media, and enterprise.
Speaking ahead of the event, Deborah Maina, Public Relations and Advertising Executive at SportPesa, said:
“Cheza Dimba is more than a tournament; it’s proof that when communities believe in themselves, transformation follows. We are proud to provide a platform where young people can showcase their talent while also addressing important issues like health awareness. Sport and community go hand in hand, and through Tujiamini, we are helping build a stronger, more confident Kenya.”
The day promises more than football. Fans can enjoy live performances from Susumila and other local artists. In addition, October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month will be marked with free health education, screenings, and resources for families.
