Shaquille O’Neil had an angry Sonya Curry after the NBA Legend posted an Instagram video where while performing as DJ Diesel threw a ball at an audience member who was holding a basketball hoop and made the show, the video had the title ‘I am the black Steph Curry’.
DJ Diesel goes hard on Stephen Curry
Shaq has always had more than one gig, even during his basketball years he always found new things to do even some that were far apart from the NBA.
We all remember the terrible Shaq-Fu videogame, it was only natural that after he retired from basketball, he endorsed multiple brands and has been the ambassador for others.
The basketball champion made a name for himself as a commentator alongside Charles Barkley and even has a DJ career in which he opted for the Dj Diesel moniker.
During one of his presentations as Dj Diesel, as part of his performance, he had a ball while a fan lifted a basketball hoop and Shaq made the shot, captioning the video as “I make em when I need to make em”.
Stephen Curry fans show up.
While the video was all in good fun, he didn’t hesitate to throw a quick jab at Steph Curry, on the video Shaq also wrote ‘I am the black Steph Curry’‘.
Then came Sonya Curry to the mix who immediately had something to say “Hold up…. my son is Black… how about “Dark skinned Steph!!!”
We all understand that everything was a joke, however, fans went hard on her in the comments, as one fan wrote “Are we gonna speak up about Ayeshas inappropriate antics embarrassing your son? ” a fan added.
Another fan tried to see things from a different angle, “Shaq been saying “Steph is white” I think having light-skinned fingers adds a little bit more rotation on the ball, and having Dell Curry for a dad can’t hurt either Good job mom… you raised a hell of a ball player and a great human being“
