Zandie, Kelly Khumalo’s sister is a witness in the case as she was in the same house on the day Senzo got murdered during a robbery.

The murder trial which has been ongoing for a long time is starting from scratch as a retired judge, Ratha Mokgoatlheng, took over from Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela.

On Wednesday, Zandile was expected to be cross-examined in the court but it couldn’t happen as the singer was reported ill.

Following her testimony on Wednesday, the court adjourned at 12:30 with the intention of resuming at 14:00 when Zandi would be cross-examined by defense lawyer Advocate Zandile Mshololo.

The trial resumed at 14:30 with Baloyi telling the court that Zandi is not feeling well and there are problems regarding her accommodation.

“We can’t tolerate this. When she must be cross examined there are problems, ” Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng said.

Zandie reportedly said she had pain in the chest, and the trial got postponed to Thursday, 20th of July, 2023, 10 am.
