

Lagos State’s Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is poised to unveil 233 splendid new residential units at the Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate, located in Ajah along the vibrant Lekki–Epe Expressway.
The state’s Commissioner for Housing, Mr. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, provided this exciting confirmation in a statement ecently
The correspondence was signed by Mr. Ganiu Lawal, the Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the Lagos State Ministry of Housing.
The commissioner articulated that the housing units, slated for inauguration on Friday, are anticipated to enhance the state’s housing inventory for the burgeoning population of Lagos residents in search of quality accommodation.
As stated by the official, “The project comprises 34 blocks, culminated in a total of 233 housing units.”
He further elaborated that the estate represents a collaborative effort between the Lagos State Government and Urban Shelter Ltd., a distinguished private real estate firm. Akinderu-Fatai underscored that the ministry remains devoted to delivering affordable and high-quality homes, in alignment with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s pledge to finalize all ongoing housing initiatives throughout the state. The News Agency of Nigeria reported that the project sprawls over 3.7 hectares within the fully developed Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate alongside the Lekki–Epe Expressway.
The Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate was inaugurated on January 15, 2001, under the auspices of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during his governorship of Lagos State.
In October 2025, Sanwo-Olu had previously inaugurated 420 housing units at the Akinsanya Sunny Ajose Housing Estate in Ajah.
