Hosts Trinidad and Tobago Red Force are trailing Barbados Pride by just seven runs at the end of day two of round five in the West Indies Four-Day Championship at Queens Park Oval.
Resuming their 1st innings on 99 for four, the Pride were bowled out for 279, led by 72 from Jonathan Drakes, 46 from Zachary McCaskie, 40 from Shane Dowrich and 34 apiece from Kevin Wickham and Jason Holder.
Red Force are 100 for three in their 2nd innings.
Meantime, Barbados Women went crashing to a six-wicket defeat to Jamaica Women in round three of the T20 Blaze in St. Kitts.
Deciding to bat first, Barbados Women were bowled out for 63 off 17.3 overs.
Naijanni Cumberbatch with 25 and Aaliyah with 16 were the only double-figure scorers for the Bajan Women.
Chinelle Henry took four for nine.
Jamaica Women then rallied home on 69 for four off 11.4 overs.
