Turkish company Raff Military Textile, and ammunition supplier REPKON have entered a strategic partnership to supplier ammunition and firearms to African military forces.

This key development was signed ahead this year’s ‎SYNERGIE SURETE, DEFENSE & SECURITE (SYSDEF) in Burkina Faso where a number of top Turkish defence companies are attending.

SYSDEF 2025 is taking place in the capital city Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – From May 8 to 10, 2025. Salon International de la Défense et de la Sécurité (SYSDEF 2025), is one of West Africa’s most prominent events in the defense and security sector.

Among the Turkish companies participating this year, Raff Military Textile stands out as a long-established manufacturer with deep expertise in supplying operational solutions for security forces.

This collaboration with REPKON is focused on expanding the export of firearms and ammunition systems to African markets. Combining Repkon’s advanced engineering with Raff’s operational field experience, the two firms are offering next-generation solutions tailored for the region’s evolving defense needs.

Established in the 1940s, Raff Military Textile has been manufacturing military uniforms, protective garments, tactical gear, and mission-specific equipment for decades. With a long-standing presence across the African continent, the company offers field-ready solutions that are adapted to both the climate and operational needs of regional forces.

Raff Military Textile’s approach goes far beyond exporting products. Its strategy focuses on long-term partnerships built on sustainability, mutual trust, and knowledge sharing.

Eray Yükseloğlu, CEO of the company, stated:

“We are proud to participate in SYSDEF 2025. Our aim is to further deepen our strong ties with Africa by offering robust and tailored solutions for local forces.”

This alliance marks a significant step in Turkey’s growing presence in Africa—not only in uniform and gear supply, but also in the delivery of cutting-edge defense technologies.
