The Commanding Officer of PNS ZULFIQUAR engaged in discussions with senior military leaders of Djibouti to explore further avenues for collaboration. These Navy-to-Navy engagements between Pakistan and Djibouti have been instrumental in cementing the diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries.
PNS ZULFIQUAR has been the lead ship of the F-22P Zulfiquar-class guided missile frigates since 2009. This vessel was designed and built by the Chinese firm Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in Shanghai, drawing significant design influence from the Type 053H3 frigate.
During the port call, the crew of PNS ZULFIQUAR had numerous professionally rewarding interactions with the Djibouti Navy and Coast Guards. These exchanges allowed for the sharing of knowledge and best practices, further enhancing the operational capabilities of both navies.
