In a remarkable fusion of technology and tradition, Orange Egypt has unveiled plans for the country’s first telecommunications tower inspired by a Pharaonic obelisk, ahead of the Grand Egyptian Museum’s (GEM) official opening on November 1st.

This uniquely designed tower honors Egypt’s ancient heritage while delivering stronger mobile network coverage and advanced communication services around the museum. The initiative supports national efforts to position the GEM as a smart cultural destination, seamlessly blending history, innovation, and connectivity.

Orange Egypt emphasized that the project reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing Egypt’s tourism and cultural sectors, showcasing how modern infrastructure can preserve national identity while driving the country’s digital transformation.
