KES 600M Invested as Safaricom Foundation Rolls Out Ndoto Zetu Phase 7
Over One Million Kenyans to Benefit from New Projects in Health, Education, and Economic Empowerment
Safaricom Foundation has launched Phase 7 of its Ndoto Zetu initiative, expanding its reach to transform lives through sustainable community projects.
The Foundation will inject KES 100 million into this phase, adding to the KES 500 million already invested since the programme began in 2019.
Empowering Local Dreams Across Counties
The launch took place at Eldoret Special School in Uasin Gishu County.
Here, the Foundation donated vocational equipment such as knitting machines and raw materials.
These tools will enable learners to create hand-crafted products for sale, giving them economic independence and essential life skills.
“With Ndoto Zetu, we are inspired by everyday Kenyans who dream not just for themselves, but for their communities,” said Safaricom CEO Dr. Peter Ndegwa.
“When your dream lifts others, it becomes our dream too.”
