About APME
Association for the Promotion of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (APME), is a private, non-profit organization of public interest that serves as a strategic platform for the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Mozambique. Established with legal personality and financial, administrative, and patrimonial autonomy, APME is registered with the Maputo Registry of Legal Entities under number 101075672.
Mission and Objectives
APME’s mission is to consolidate and strengthen the role of MSMEs in the national economy by promoting their harmonious integration into the business environment. Its key objectives include:
1. Unite and Represent: Bring together MSMEs across various economic sectors, ensuring a unified approach and staunch defense of their interests.
2. Quality and Efficiency: Support member companies in enhancing the quality of their products and services while optimizing operational processes.
3. Credibility and Trust: Elevate the credibility of MSMEs with public entities, financial institutions, and national and international partners.
4. Legal and Financial Assistance: Provide technical and legal support to member companies, empowering them to navigate market challenges effectively.Economic Growth: Contribute to Mozambique’s economic growth and increased GDP by strengthening MSMEs’ role in the economy.
5. Information and Education: Disseminate information on commercial legislation, investment opportunities, and international trade, while equipping entrepreneurs with the skills to seize these opportunities.
6. Promote the National Brand: Advocate for and promote the Made in Mozambique brand in local and international markets, highlighting the competitiveness of Mozambican products and services.
7. Strategic Partnerships: Forge alliances with national and international organizations to strengthen Mozambican entrepreneurship and maximize business opportunities.
