As Ramadan nears its end, Moroccans eagerly prepare for Eid, where traditional attire plays a crucial role in the festivities. Garments like kaftans and djellabas, often crafted from luxurious fabrics and intricate embroidery, are custom-made for the occasion. Fashion designers, like Sahar El Maazouzi, release exclusive Eid collections that feature opulent designs. The demand for these traditional outfits rises during the final days of Ramadan, especially after Laylat al-Qadr. Women, children, and families ensure they are dressed in these garments for the celebrations, with kaftans and djellabas often paired with gold slippers and traditional accessories.
