Nigeria’s vital Trans Niger Pipeline (TNP) is back in operation after a blast last week temporarily halted flows, according to Renaissance Group. The pipeline, which transports up to 450,000 barrels of Bonny Light crude per day, is a key export route for Africa’s largest oil producer, accounting for about 15% of Nigeria’s daily output. After the March 19 rupture, Renaissance, which operates the pipeline, rerouted oil through an alternative line to maintain output. Repairs have since been completed, and the pipeline is fully restored. The incident briefly raised concerns over Nigeria’s oil exports, but the quick response helped stabilize operations and minimize disruption to one of the country’s most important energy assets.
