LOOP FLEX: A Smarter Way to Shop and Pay

LOOP, a Pan-African lifestyle brand anchored on finance, has launched LOOP FLEX, an innovative Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution designed to give customers more control and flexibility over their shopping and payment choices.

Flexible Payment for Everyday and Aspirational Purchases

Through LOOP FLEX, customers can buy goods on credit by paying a minimum deposit of 10%. LOOP then pays the merchant the full purchase amount, while the customer clears the balance in affordable monthly installments over a period of up to 12 months. Interest applies on the loan amount.

Customers can access FLEX credit limits ranging from KES 15,000 to KES 1,000,000, helping them manage both essential and lifestyle purchases with ease.

To qualify, customers must be fully registered on LOOP, have a positive FLEX limit, hold no overdue loans, and accept the product’s terms and conditions.

Empowering Responsible and Confident Spending

Speaking during the launch, Eric Muriuki, CEO of LOOP DFS, said:
“LOOP FLEX supports our role as a lifestyle enabler. It gives customers the power to enjoy life today while managing their tomorrow responsibly. With this product, we are reimagining how our customers experience smarter, more flexible financial solutions. We aim to inspire confidence, unlock opportunities, and fit seamlessly into their everyday lives without unnecessary limits.”

Transparent and Affordable Repayment Model

Customers can hold up to five active FLEX loans at once, with a minimum loan amount of KES 9,000. Repayments are made monthly under a risk-based pricing model aligned with LOOP’s pricing matrix. A facility fee of 4% of the disbursed amount, plus applicable excise duty, applies to each loan.

This transparent model ensures affordability and responsible lending while giving customers full visibility of their borrowing costs.

The launch of LOOP FLEX marks a new milestone for LOOP as it strengthens its position as a lifestyle brand that merges technology and financial empowerment.

The product underscores LOOP’s commitment to offering simple, flexible, and digital-first financial solutions that enhance how people spend, save, and live.
