Livingtrust Mortgage Bank Plc, a leading primary mortgage institution in Nigeria, has appointed Dr. Wale Bolorunduro as its new board chairman.

The announcement was made following the withdrawal of the nomination of the former chairman, Alhaji Adebayo Jimoh, by the Government of Osun State, a major shareholder in the bank.

Dr. Bolorunduro, a distinguished banker, previously served as the chairman of the bank’s Board of Directors between 2011 and 2016, overseeing a successful recapitalization and listing on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.

His appointment is subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
