Light Group of Schools recently hosted its much-anticipated annual Cultural Day, avibrant and immersive celebration of the diverse cultures represented within its schoolcommunity.
The event was a spectacular showcase of heritage, traditions, and customs from various parts of the world, emphasizing the importance of cultural appreciation, unity, and intercultural learning.
With students hailing from multiple backgrounds, Light Group of Schools aimed to create an enriching experience that highlighted the beauty of cultural diversity.
The event featured cultural exhibitions, traditional performances, fashion showcases, music, and authentic cuisine from various regions.
Some of the countries celebrated during the event included Kenya, Turkey, Somalia, Mexico, India, Sudan, South Africa, and Egypt, among many others.
Each culture was uniquely represented through traditional attire, dances, songs, and historical insights, allowing students, teachers, and parents to gain a deeper understanding of one another’s heritage.
The Cultural Day was not just a visual spectacle but also an educational experience.
