KNDS France has unveiled its new unmanned military ground vehicle, the “Centurio-X30,” designed to deliver heavy fire support to dismounted units.

Showcased at the 2025 International Defence Exhibition & Conference in Abu Dhabi, the robotic vehicle features advanced navigation capabilities, enabling it to traverse complex terrain.

With real-time battlefield analysis capabilities, the Centurio-X30 can adjust its movements based on evolving situations and autonomously avoid obstacles, enhancing operational efficiency.

Additionally, the vehicle supports leader-follower mode, enabling seamless manned-unmanned teaming during operations.

Its modular design allows for easy integration of additional weapons and sensors in the future, without requiring major structural changes.

Beyond combat roles, the Centurio-X30 is capable of conducting routine patrols and reconnaissance missions, freeing up manned units to focus on other critical tasks.

Top départ pour le salon IDEX à Abu Dhabi ! Pour ce premier jour, nous avons notamment eu l’honneur de recevoir la visite du ministre des Armées, @SebLecornu et du Délégué Général pour l’Armement, @echiva.

Firepower

The Centurio-X30 stands out with its 30mm autocannon, capable of neutralizing infantry, light armored vehicles, and fortified enemy positions.

Equipped with a remotely operated weapon system, the vehicle allows soldiers to deliver precise fire while minimizing exposure to counterattacks.

Its advanced integrated targeting suite enables effective target engagement in both daylight and nighttime conditions, as well as in challenging weather environments.

The Centurio-X30 boasts a firing rate of 225 rounds per minute and a maximum strike range of 1,500 meters (4,921 feet).

Its armament is also versatile and compatible with various ammunition types, including high-explosive incendiary rounds, armor-piercing rounds, and training projectiles.
