Kitengela Furaha Children’s Academy Offering Learning Opportunities To Orphans And Less Fortunate Children
Kitengela Furaha Children’s Academy an establishment of Saidia Furaha Children’s home is offering learning opportunities to orphans, destitutes and other less fortunate children within the community in Kitengela.
Since its establishment in 2021, the school has been a blessing to the community within Kitengela as it encourages vulnerable children to go to school.
According to Mr Katsumi Arakawa a japanese volunteer popularly known to children as ‘Uncle’
“Saidia Furaha Children’s home through the school is determined and focused on making sure that children from less privileged families also get equal opportunities for development just like other children from privileged families”
Arakawa is appealing to families within communities in Kitengela to take advantage of the school and bring their children to school.
According to Mr.Denise Kodhe, chairman Saidia Furaha Children’s home and a Director of the school, education is the key to the future and it is the only investment and insurance children can get from their families.
Mr.Kodhe further appeal to well- wishers to support the school as it does not have funds and proper facilities such as classes, laboratory, computer lab and recreational materials.
Kitengela Furaha Children’s Academy is located in NoonKopir area of Kitengela. It is offering pre- primary, middle school grades and Junior secondary education.
