Jordan Love undoubtedly has some big shoes to fill in taking over for Packers legend Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay, however, is feeling excited for their first round pick of the 2020 Draft to see some regular season action. Even more so after a flawless display at Packers Family Night, in which he flashed a few Patrick Mahomes-style moments.

65,000 fans attended the event, a chance for fans to see an intrasquad scrimmage with all of its star players and reserve squad involved. Family Night is tradition in Green Bay, and the most sought after training event of the year in the Wisconsin town.

A slow start, but fiery finish for Packers’ Jordan Love

Despite a slow start, Love quickly caught fire and went 11-19 on the night, with three touchdown passes and several highlight-reel calibre throws.

Jordan Love ‘threads the needle’ with Mahomes-style sidearm pass, hypes Packers fans@Packers

Jordan Love’s Mahomes-esque moment came in a TD throw to star RB Aaron Jones. As the QB was approached by two defenders, he threaded the needle perfectly between both of them. Finding Jones for the score and hyping up fans on the Saturday exhibition at Lambeau Field.

Other flashy moments of the night included a dart to rookie TE Luke Musgrave, followed by a pinpoint pass to second-year WR Christian Watson to succesfully complete the two-minute drill.
