Are you looking for a full-time or part-time job, Jobberman Nigeria recently secured a partnership with Google Nigeria to launch the job search feature known as ‘Google For Jobs’ in Nigeria.

The new Google job search feature puts convenience and power of the search into the hands of millions of job seekers across Africa’s most populous nation.

In attendance at the press launch, which held in Lagos, Nigeria was Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and Youth Empowerment, Ayodeji Akinwunmi, Jobberman Nigeria’s Brand CEO, Tayo Olosunde, the Executive Director, Mind The Gap and other industry bigwigs.jobberman partners google

The launch is a continuation of Google’s initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa to improve the economic opportunities for job seekers and employers, as evidenced by the ‘Grow with Google’ initiative. In the same vein, the Digital Skills for Africa program, Google’s commitment to training one million young Africans between April 2016 and March 2017, has achieved and far exceeded its goals.

“We believe that the web allows anyone, anywhere, of any age, to grow their business, learn the skills they need to get a job, to grow in their career, become an entrepreneur or developer. This new jobs Search tool will be a key driver for connecting job seekers to open opportunities, helping more people to Grow with Google,” Juliet Ehimuan Chiazor, Google Country Director explained.

Speaking at the event, Ayodeji Akinwunmi admonished jobseekers to continuously develop themselves beyond what they studied in the four walls of the classroom and to understand that “getting a job is not an entitlement, but a gift and so when one gets a job, it should be held with utmost care.”

The Google For Jobs feature will ensure that you see hundreds of job offers from the Jobberman website as soon as they are published.

Regardless of whether you are using a computer or mobile device, the platform allows you to explore the job offers available on the Web by simple requests like “jobs near me” (job offers near me) or “teaching jobs.”
