A light earthquake rattled parts of Jamaica on Monday morning, geologists report.
According to the Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, the 3.9-magnitude tremor struck at approximately 6:50 am local time. The epicenter was located roughly 7 kilometers (4 miles) north of Bull Bay, at a focal depth of 20 kilometers (12 miles).
Tremors were reportedly felt across the parishes of Kingston and St. Andrew. No damage or injuries have been reported.
