The situation with the Memphis Grizzlies point guard reached a breaking point. He was criticized by everyone, questioned about a fictitious apology that happened months before, and even bid farewell to social media with strange messages.

At the end of the finals, the NBA punished him with a 25-game suspension. Shortly after, a video emerged in which Morant defended himself.
As revealed by the TMZ website, Morant recorded a video holding the firearm from the second incident. It can be identified as the point guard based on his tattoos. He shows his family and friends that it wasn’t a real pistol.
“I’ve had time to reflect and I realize how much hurt I’ve caused,” Morant said in the statement.
“I want to apologize to the NBA, the Grizzlies, my teammates and the city of Memphis.
