BAE Systems has selected Integris Composites to provide ballistic protection systems for the CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV).
Integris will provide the systems for two undisclosed European nations.
The partnership includes local production to fulfill local content requirements, the Ohio-based company said.
”We always have a local content team ready, who can implement the transfer of certain technologies to a different location,” sales director at Integris Henrik Jørstad added.
“The same approach will be used to support BAE Systems in fulfilling their obligation to their customers.”
“We are very proud that BAE Systems has recognized this value, which next to design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, we consider being part of a strategic partnership.”

The tracked platform has been designed to provide optimum mobility, agility, and firepower in subarctic environments.
The platform can transport up to eight personnel and travel at a maximum speed of 43 miles (70 kilometers) per hour.
A total of 10 countries have procured the vehicle, including Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, and Finland.
In December, Sweden and Denmark placed a $2.5-billion order with BAE Systems to procure a total of 165 CV90s.
