Automation and orchestration specialist Inmanta expanded its sovereign cloud automation offering to Africa, aiming to help telecom operators and datacentre providers boost efficiency and maintain data sovereignty as infrastructure investment accelerates across the continent.

Inmanta said in a statement its platform enables service providers to design, deploy, and manage datacentre and cloud infrastructure dynamically – cutting provisioning times from days to minutes while maintaining alignment between operations and business intent.

“As governments and enterprises seek greater control over their data and infrastructure, sovereign clouds are emerging as a strategic necessity,” said Stefan Walraven, CEO and co-founder of Inmanta. “Africa’s fast-growing datacentre ecosystem makes it an ideal market for this next phase of expansion.”

Africa’s datacentre and network capacity are expanding rapidly, driven by investment in subsea cables, national fibre rollout and FTTH networks, as well as growing demand for AI-driven digital services. Inmanta also sees regional opportunities for Inmanta Connect, its fixed-line and network service automation solution.

Inmanta also announced it will also attend AfricaCom 2025 in Cape Town, where it is engaging with operators and technology partners.
