IDEA for Africa invited For 2024 G20 Interfaith and the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD)

The Institute for Development and Leadership in Africa ( IDEA for Africa) has been invited to attend the 2024 G20 Interfaith and the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD) Annual Forum on Religion and Sustainable Development  to be held in Brasilia in Brazil August 19th-22 2024.

The forum is co- organized by the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development ( PaRD) and the G20 Interfaith Forum.The Forum will bring together a diverse array of stakeholders including governments, multilateral entities, academia, religious and Civil Society  organizations and other non- State actors across the World.

IDEA for Africa invited at 2024 G20 Interfaith and the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD)

Since its inception in 2014, IF 20 like PaRD has been instrumental in shaping global policy agendas by offering insightful recommendations on the role of Religion in enhancing and promoting sustainable Development.

‘Building a just World and a Sustainable Planet” is the theme of the forum whose key points are aligned to the priority areas of the 19th G20 Summit to be held on November 18th-19th 2024 in Rio de Janeiro.

IDEA for Africa invited at 2024 G20 Interfaith and the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD)

IDEA for Africa is a member of the German based PaRD international and a founding member of PaRD Africa Voice whose main objective is to bring together religious and Civil Society Organisations , governments and other non- State actors in Africa to promote and enhance the role of Religion in Sustainable development through PaRD International.

PaRD with over 160 members from various sectors including governments, multilateral entities, academia, religious and civil society organisations from over 40 countries across the World fostering long- term cooperation to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
