At the first stop of the Huawei Network Summit 2025 held in Marrakech, Morocco, Huawei announced fully upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Network offerings for North Africa, putting it at the forefront of AI-powered network innovation.

AI-powered experience: Xinghe Intelligent Campus, leading the way in experience-centric networks

In security-sensitive industries (e.g., utilities and finance), Wi-Fi has not been as successful as expected due to security concerns. In response, Huawei launched the unique Wi-Fi 7 Shield, which uses AI-powered signal jamming technology to encrypt the physical layer and prevent data leaks.

Huawei’s Intelligent Experience Assurance Engine leverages intelligent application identification and all-flow scheduling and analysis to preferentially ensure the experience of encrypted applications such as consumer conferencing applications.

AI-Powered Insurance: Xinghe Intelligent WAN, Accelerating Industrial Intelligence

In power generation scenarios, traditional networks cannot support bidirectional delays below 200 μs for services such as relay protection. Huawei Xinghe Intelligent WAN reduces this figure to 3 μs by leveraging revolutionary AI jitter elimination algorithms.

In government scenarios, application identification accuracy on traditional networks is only 70%. Huawei increases this figure to over 95% with AI feature extraction technology based on a convolutional neural network (CNN).

AI-Powered Resilience: Xinghe Intelligent Fabric: Building a Permanent Data Center Network with Zero Compute Loss

With artificial intelligence applications and online transactions booming, any network configuration error can lead to significant losses. Furthermore, reliable components such as optical modules in data centers are key to fully harnessing computing power. Huawei has therefore upgraded its Xinghe Intelligent Fabric solution with two technologies.

The first is an integrated network security simulation technology, powered by the Xingtu AI optimal policy algorithm and the Centralized Model-Operation Simulation (CMOS) algorithm, which sorts millions of security policies in 2 minutes and simulates 3,000 devices in 3 minutes, thus achieving consistently error-free network changes. The other is the optical channel loss resistance technology used on Huawei’s StarryLink optical modules, which improves the reliability of optical modules by 10 times while ensuring uninterrupted cluster formation at the month level.

AI-powered security: Xinghe Intelligent Network Security, the cornerstone of network security

Ransomware attacks are commonplace and cause losses of $4.5 million on average. Huawei has therefore continued to innovate with its Xinghe Intelligent Network security solution to establish a comprehensive protection system. Specifically, AI-powered firewalls enable a 95% detection rate for unknown threats, HiSec Endpoint, with more than 2,000 protection points, ensuring 100% data recovery, and the AI-powered source tracing graph engine enables 100-hop correlation analysis across the entire network to pinpoint the source of the threat.

Huawei is also expanding deeper into commercial markets and opening network AI agent capabilities to partners, helping build 24/7 networks staffed by HCIE experts. This helps reduce ticket closure time from days to minutes. In addition, Huawei offers differentiated solutions based on industry scenarios to meet unique needs.

For global distribution markets, Huawei focuses on high-value scenarios such as SME offices, modest hotels, and commercial stores, helping SMEs go digital and intelligent. Additionally, Huawei offers one-click AI troubleshooting that integrates 32 common fault operator libraries for 90% detection accuracy. This allows partners to remotely resolve common issues in less than a minute on their mobile phones.

Going forward, Huawei will further deepen the innovation of AI-powered Xinghe Intelligent Network and collaborate with African customers to accelerate intelligent transformation across industries for a digital and intelligent future.

Richard Wu, Vice President of Huawei’s Data Communication Product Line

Rapidly developing AI technologies are propelling the data communications industry into the AI era. To keep pace, Huawei Xinghe Intelligent Network is creating AI-powered connectivity through AI-powered experience, assurance, resilience, and security.
