The Remote Work Festival We’ve All Been Waiting For

December 5, 2025

Job hunting is the real ghetto. It’s like fighting for your life and still forcing yourself to smile and speak Queen’s English or corporate English. Finding jobs in Nigeria is now a full time job on its own and few people like to admit it publicly

Forget what everyone writes on LinkedIn, especially the ones that announce they are “open to new jobs” (No shade at all please) but the way those posts read,

“Life has taught me that you have to build resilience and patience to enjoy the finest things. I learnt this as my former company which I was with for 2 years and 7 months told me they are sorry to let me go. I am a digital manager with 7 years of experience. I’m taking this opportunity to publicly request referrals and job openings. I’m ready to take on new responsibilities and challenges.”

We all know that the unread emoji behind that kind of post is 😪😭😱(tears, hotter tears and panic) AND IT’s NORMAL!

However, if that is you in any way, shape or form, you can expedite your job-hunting process and land jobs in Nigeria you actually want FASTER!

How?

There are two ways to job hunt on the Jobberman platform; through automated search (the fast way) or through manual search (the slow way)

Since we are not here to play games, I will start by telling you the fast way.

Automated Job Hunting – Job Alert

Jobberman has relaunched its JOB ALERT. (No, we are not giving away free money).

What is Job Alert?

Job Alert is an automated email that sends you personalised job listings based on your chosen preferences like role, industry and location. You can find jobs in Nigeria, in any state and for any role.

Why spend hours combing a job site for the roles you’re interested in when you can just set up a system that does the hard work for you?

“If you are tired of going to the mountain, let the mountain come to you. If you are tired of searching for jobs, let the jobs come to you” – Jobberman Job Alert 2025

Job Alert offers three key things that help job seekers like you find their dream jobs faster.

  1. Only the jobs that fit you: You get listings tailored to your skills, industry, role, location, and experience level.
  2. Delivered on your terms: You receive the emails as often as you want alerts: hourly, daily, or weekly. You’re in control.
  3. Smarter alerts, less noise: If you’re not engaging, the algorithm reduces the frequency till you resume regular engagement.

Smarter search is the way forward now especially since it’s not just about quantity but quality too. Use your time to find out what employers are looking for in 2025,, skill-wise and position yourself. Leave the job search to the Job Alert algorithm

Who Can Use Job Alert?

Anyone searching for a job can use Job Alert. Whether you are an entry, mid or senior-level professional or you have multiple qualifications in different industries, you can use job alert. And let me add that it is FREE! Another amazing thing is that Job Alert can send you high-paying jobs in Nigeria. Yes, you can choose your salary range.

How to Subscribe for Job Alert

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up your job alert on the Jobberman platform.

  1. Visit www.jobberman.com and click the sign-up button on the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Choose “Jobseeker account” and fill out your details.
  3. As soon as you are signed in, you will receive a prompt to create job alerts. Click it and fill out the form.
  4. Complete your job alert subscription. Create as many as you want for different roles/industries.
  5. Sit back and wait to receive a tailored job opening that fits your interests.

If you still want to cover all grounds. Remember there is a second way to job hunt on the Jobberman platform.

Manual Job Search

This is the regular search you do yourself on the platform using the filters and entering the roles you are interested in. To get started, simply login to your Jobberman account and start your search right on the homepage.

Conclusion

Automated job search with Job alerts is the future. You do not have to spend time manually searching for jobs on the Jobberman platform. Use that time to tailor your CV or take courses and certifications to boost your chances.

Go ahead now and create your Jobseeker account if you don’t have one. If you already do, create your job alerts. It only takes about 2-3 minutes! Ready to get started?
