These time-honored techniques have been passed down orally and are deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of various Kenyan tribes. However, not all meteorologists trust their expertise, though their predictions have often proven accurate in guiding farmers. Consequently, there has been a growing recognition of the value of integrating these indigenous forecasting methods with modern meteorological data.
