Cindy Ngamba, a bronze medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympics, is set to make her professional boxing debut on March 7, 2025, at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The 26-year-old Cameroonian-born, British-based boxer made history as the first Refugee Olympic Team athlete to win an Olympic medal, securing bronze in the women’s 75kg category. Ngamba, a three-time national champion in England, expressed her ambition to compete against top professionals and continue representing refugees globally. Her debut fight will be part of the undercard of the world title clash between Lauren Price and Natasha Jonas. Inducted into the English Institute of Sport’s Hall of Fame, Ngamba is eager to showcase her skills on the professional stage, marking another milestone in her inspiring journey. At the moment, her opponent for the debut bout remains unconfirmed.
