The Federal Housing Authority (FAA) has announced plans to construct affordable houses for vulnerable and low-income earners in Kaduna State and other parts of Nigeria.

This initiative is aimed at providing shelter for the low and middle class, addressing the housing deficit in the country.

The Managing Director of the authority, Oyetunde Ojo, made this known during a visit to Governor Uba Sani in Kaduna. He emphasized that the pilot project, starting in Kaduna, would enhance access to decent, quality, and affordable housing for all Nigerians.

In response, Governor Sani commended the Federal Housing Authority for selecting Kaduna State for the pilot mass housing scheme. He approved the allocation of land for the housing project, emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing shelter for the less privileged and middle class.

The partnership between the Federal Housing Authority and Kaduna State is a significant step towards addressing the housing challenges faced by many Nigerians, as housing remains a key agenda for both state and federal governments.
