Enugu Business Summit to Begin Thursday, October 5th

With the theme “Unveiling Your Inner Capacities”, the Enugu Business Summit 2.0, is set to be held on Thursday, October 5th, 2023 at the Amadeo Event Centre, Enugu.

The event will beam a ray of hope to the business community within the South East and South-South geopolitical zones of the country, and also reinvigorate experience for businesses within the region.

The Chairman of Amadeo Initiatives, the for-purpose arm of Copen Group, and convener of the Summit, Ugochukwu Obiora Chime revealed the activities of the initiative over the past years and opportunities for collaboration from donor institutions and governments alike in the coming year, noted that the key feature of the initiative is its ability to absorb the administrative overhead while allowing all donor funding to be administered for the purpose they were sent.

“This prestigious event will witness active participation from key stakeholders, including government officials, private sector leaders, academia, policymakers, business luminaries, NGOs, and entrepreneurs from diverse sectors of the economy.

“Distinguished individuals will deliver heartfelt goodwill messages during the summit. Dr. Emeka Ene, the Managing Director of Empower Free Trade Zone, and Mr. Ngozi Anyaogu, the Managing Director of AG Mortgage Bank Plc, will emphasize the timeliness of the gathering in encouraging citizens to proactively contribute to the economic and social development of the region by fostering resilience and sustainable business growth.

“The summit will feature an impressive lineup of accomplished speakers representing various domains of expertise. The likes of Prof. Chinedu Nebo, former Minister of Power in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and three-time vice chancellor, delivered a compelling address on “Leveraging Your Inner Capacities for Public and Private Engagement.” Dr. Nkemdilim Iheanacho from the Lagos Business School shared valuable insights on self-leadership and personal development.

“Prof. Joy Ngozi Ezeilo, founder of Women Aid Collective (WACOL) and Tamar SARC will also grace the summit and address the audience on the opportunities and challenges facing local for-purpose enterprises.

Additionally, the summit will be privileged to host Dr. Samuel Maduka Onyishi, Chairman of Peace Group, one of Nigeria’s leading public logistics companies with diversified interests in academia. Sir Robert O. Anwatu, CEO of Roban Group, will provide invaluable insights on “Leadership in a Changing World,” Prof. Ikechukwu Obi, the State Commissioner for Health, will speak on the intersection of entrepreneurship and wellness.

Participants and businesses will share their enthusiastic endorsements of the wealth of knowledge and experiences presented during the summit, reaffirming their commitment to participating in the October 2024 Business Summit 3.0, hosted by Amadeo Initiatives.
