Kagiso Setsetse and his late business partner, DJ Sumbody

Kagiso Setsetse took R15-million life cover policy from Momentum 9 months after his business partner, DJ Sumbody was brutally killed.

According to Sunday World, Kagiso is yet to receive the money as detectives on the DJ’s death froze payment till they can get a statement from Setsetse.

Ralph Stanfield who some people claim he is the killer of the late artist gave out the update about Kagiso’s move to the aforesaid publication.

The gang leader opened up about how he got into business with the late DJ Sumbody.

It was revealed that the two businessmen who co-owned Ayepyep lifestyle were threatened by some unknown gangsters and Ralph provided them security; they entered into the security deal through his wife, Nicole.

Another threat was sent to Sumbody and the Stanfield came through again.

“Till to date there have been no reported shootouts at or near the establishment,” he said.

Stanfied alleges that in 2021 Setsetse and Sumbody “amended” their Ayepyep Menlyn shareholders agreement after which Setsetse took out life insurance for the artist to the value of R15-million.

He claimed the business partner fraudulently obtained the DJ’s death certificate, despite refusal from the musician’s mother.

Raph Stanfield claims Kagiso is dubious about the business and he is set to go legal against him.
