The Deep Water Movement is proud to announce the upcoming Crisis Intervention Convention, a pivotal event dedicated to addressing the pressing water and waste issues facing South Africa. 

Attendance is free to those who register. Go to the website to register. The Convention is being held on 5 & 6 September 2024 at The Bandstand at Johannesburg Zoo. The gathering will spark meaningful conversations between experts, policymakers, and
community leaders and activists, to discuss sustainable solutions for water, waste and energy
management and environmental conservation.

Tarryn Johnston, Founder of the Deep Water Movement, will open the convention by outlining the purpose and intentions of the event. From the perspective of a seasoned activist, the need for intervention is dire, and this Convention aims to create greater awareness of South Africa’s
water reality, but more importantly, to network and inspire action through understanding. .
