Following weeks of back and forth, marketers have finally come to terms with the Dangote refinery concerning the sale of Dangote refined Premium Motor Spirits, otherwise known as Petrol.
This information as seen in the Punch newspaper was made known by the association’s president, Abubakar Garima.
The IPMAN president made the announcement during a news conference that was held in the nation’s capital city Abuja on Monday after the Association’s National Working Committee meeting.
According to him, the collaboration will guarantee a consistent and reasonably priced supply of PMS products across the country.
“After meeting with Aliko Dangote and his management team in Lagos, we are pleased to announce that Dangote Refinery has agreed to supply IPMAN with PMS, AGO, and DPK directly for distribution to our depots and retail outlets,” he stated.
“IPMAN members should rely on Dangote Refinery and Nigerian refineries for white products, creating more job opportunities and supporting President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda,” he added.
This new development supersedes months of back and forth between both parties.
of being difficult to negotiate with, given the fact that some IPMAN members had been unable to lift petrol from the refinery.
